The traveling Members set and place a refundable deposit in the platform before confirming and exchange.
After checkout, if the swap was “all good,” the deposit is released.
If there’s an issue, we use documentation to resolve it quickly and fairly. In a Mutual Exchange, both members place deposits. In the Point Exchange, just who travels.

After a safe, completed stay, we ask for an optional success fee and only if you’re satisfied.
If you approve, it’s taken from the refunded deposit to help run the platform and keep your savings high; if not, you receive your full deposit back. No subscriptions. No hidden fees.

Fees create barriers for people who want to try first. Verification on Avenee is free and based on your professional identity + manual approval: not your ability to pay. You only contribute after a successful stay, if you want.

Visibility brings accountability. Every member is LinkedIn-verified and manually reviewed.

If something goes wrong, you’re protected. Every stay is backed by a refundable deposit held by the platform, so if there’s damage, a dispute, or anything unexpected, funds are available to resolve it fairly. We strongly recommend you document anything that’s not right when you arrive, and take a short video again before you leave. This creates a clear record so any claims can be handled quickly and transparently. For extra peace of mind, optional insurance is also available.

Avenee acts as a neutral mediator. We review the evidence (videos/photos, messages) and decide how the escrowed deposit should be released.

You can cancel in-app until a swap is confirmed. After confirmation, contact support. If the other member has already incurred costs (e.g., flights) and objects, part or all of the escrowed deposit may be allocated to refund them. Credits remain safe. Decisions are case-by-case to protect both sides.
